Body by Burberry

So recently i received a sample bottle of Body by Burberry, and i'm not really quite sure how i feel about it. I've always been a fan of Burberry fragrances, Burberry Brit has been one of my all time faves, so when i found out that they were doing a new fragrance i was excited and had high expectations. However, now i'm stumped for words and at a loss of what to say. Its not that its a bad fragrance, its just a marketing job gone wrong. I have a love/hate relationship with the perfume. I love it because it reminds me of when my aunt first came to visit from Australia. She always smelled like Lancome Tresor, and I cant help but connect this perfume with that. Its almost like it is the long lost twin. But i hate it because its a horrible long lasting scent that eventually drives you crazy, and in my case even made me sick.

The advertisement markets a young lady with papparazi all around, however with the scent being what it is, i believe they should have used an amazingly beautiful legendary actress to campaign this perfume, because it definitely is not a young adolescent scent. When coming up against competitiors for younglings like Marc Jacobs, Chanel, Juicy Couture and Gucci... This perfume will fail amongst unless we leave it to the generations before us to pick it up.

Thats pretty much all i could say for this perfume, Have you guys tried it yet? If so what were your thoughts?
